STRATA In The Community: CASA of McLennan County

When children enter the foster care system because their home is no longer safe, CASA of McLennan County and its network of invested, compassionate Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers step in to advocate for the child’s best interests in the child protection system. CASA  relies on volunteers and generous donors of time and money,  to ensure that every child that faces foster care matters.

#BETTERTOGETHER

STRATA Trust Company was honored to be able to support CASA again in 2020.  STRATA’s typical gift wrapping marathon was halted due to COVID-19, however we pulled together and delivered gift cards for these very special groups of kids in McLennan County.

EVERY CHILD MATTERS

CASA’s mission is to provide a trained volunteer, a Court Appointed Special Advocate, for every abused and neglected child in the counties we serve so that these children may ultimately thrive in safe, nurturing, and permanent homes. CASA is making a difference – one child at a time. CASA volunteers are individuals from all walks of life who speak up for a child’s best interests in court. Read about the amazing stories and volunteers on CASA’s News and Events section.

Thank you to all the volunteers at CASA, your hard work and dedication matter so much! We wish all the kids in foster care a Merry CASA Christmas!
