National Business Development
Client Services Manager
As President, Kelli plays an integral role in developing the STRATA Trust Company corporate strategy while overseeing institutional sales and business development efforts. With over 28 years of experience in the self-directed retirement plan industry, she has extensive experience in institutional IRA custody and administration for direct investments and alternative assets. Prior to joining STRATA in 2009, Kelli served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Sterling Trust Company.
Kelli is actively involved in the retirement industry and an avid promoter of self-directed IRAs. She has served on the board of the Retirement Industry Trust Association (RITA) for over 17 years, including her former role as RITA President and Compliance Committee Chair. Kelli has written extensively about self-directed retirement plans, with articles published in REALTOR® Magazine, Texas REALTOR Magazine and INVEST Magazine. Kelli received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Management from Baylor University in 1988.
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Jeff uses his 26 years of experience in the industry to consistently design and implement common sense solutions for complicated issues. Providing IRA custodial services to the largest brokerage and REIT firms in the county, Jeff understands the value of institutional relationships and makes sure that every business decision is focused on win/win solutions for all parties involved.
Prior to joining STRATA Trust Company, Jeff served as Vice President of Operations with Sterling Trust Company and as Director of Directed Trustee Services for Equity Institutional. He understands the IRS complexities involved with combining alternative assets such as limited partnerships, limited liability companies, promissory notes, real estate and precious metals into any type of Individual Retirement Account.
He has been involved in multiple account acquisitions from other custodians such as Trust Administration Services and Principal Financial Group. In addition, his involvement in multiple system conversions has provided him with a firm grasp of building out workflow systems, document repositories and implementing the principles of Lean Six Sigma. Jeff received his degree in Business Administration and Management from Baylor University.
Chief Financial Officer
Michele joined STRATA Trust Company in 2014 as CFO and has over 27 years of experience in the self-directed IRA services industry. In addition to financial reporting and analysis, she has overseen information technology and accounting teams throughout her career.
Prior to joining STRATA Trust Company, she served as Chief Financial Officer and Director for Sterling Trust Company. Michele is a Certified Public Accountant with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.
Chief Technology Officer
STRATA’s Chief Technology Officer Will Pascarella is the most recent addition to the team. Will brings 11 years of software consulting experience, including designing and implementing content management and business process systems, primarily for clients in the financial services industry. Will understands how to support all phases of the software development lifecycle as either a member of the delivery team or by overseeing the delivery team.
Will holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
Vice President - Compliance & Risk Management
Anthony joined STRATA Trust Company in 2011 and is responsible for the company’s compliance and risk management program. He also serves as an Assistant BSA Officer, providing oversight of compliance with applicable BSA/AML, OFAC and CIP regulations.
Anthony began his 20-year career in the self-directed IRA industry in 1997 with Sterling Trust Company. During his tenure at Sterling, he became a member of the management team that helped grow the company into one of the premier self-directed IRA custodians in the country. He received his BA in English from Baylor University in 1997.
National Director of Business Development
Patrick joined STRATA Trust Company in 2017 as National Director of Business Development. He has over 12 years of experience in the self-directed IRA industry. Prior to joining STRATA, Patrick served as Regional Business Development Manager for a large self-directed IRA administration company. Patrick has worked with thousands of self-directed IRA clients. He is extremely well versed in self-directed retirement plans and enjoys using his extensive, hands-on experience in the field to help investors understand their retirement plan investment options and the corresponding IRC rules and regulations.
Patrick has taught continuing education courses and given live presentations to investors, CPAs, attorneys and financial planners throughout the country. He works with all types of self-directed IRAs investors; however his primary focus is working within the private placement space. He works closely with a network of private equity firms, attorneys and private placement investors.
Patrick received his degree in Psychology and Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
