*IRS update March 29, 2021: 2020 tax returns and IRA contribution deadlines extended to May 17, 2021 (June 15, 2021, for residents of Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana). 

Follow the easy steps when making your IRA contribution for the tax year 2020 or 2021 to your STRATA account.

Step 1.  Make your contribution check payable to STRATA Trust Company

Step 2.  Include your IRA account number on your contribution check.

Step 3.  Complete our Deposit Certification form

• Be sure to designate the appropriate tax year in Section 2, Annual Contribution for Tax Year (example below). Failure to designate the contribution tax year will result in STRATA coding the contribution for the year in which it is received.

Step 4.  Mail your contribution check and the completed Deposit Certification form directly to STRATA at the address shown below. Please do not mail to your advisor or to an investment held within your IRA.

Important Reminders

• If contributing for the 2020 tax year, envelopes must be postmarked by the U.S. Postal Service to STRATA Trust Company no later than *May 17, 2021 (June 15, 2021, for residents of Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana).
