How It Works

Step

Open

Establish a new SDIRA account with STRATA via the online account setup. Our online account setup process is simple and typically takes just a few minutes to fill out. You can assign beneficiaries or appoint interested parties (if applicable), plus start the process to fund your new STRATA IRA.

Step

Fund

Complete a transfer form that allows STRATA to initiate the transfer of funds from your existing IRA to your new STRATA account, and electronically sign your AV investment subscription documents.​

  • Visit the IRA Transfer Request section on our Forms page and select the correct form out of the options listed.​
  • AV Investor Relations provides your investment subscription documents for electronic signature.​

Once the forms have been submitted, STRATA establishes your self-directed IRA account, funded with the transfer from your existing IRA provider.

Direct

Lastly, go to League Capital Markets portal to create an SDIRA investment account through your League Capital Markets account. Subsequently utilize their Investment Offerings page to select the investment of your choice. After you make your first investment, League Capital Markets will provide you with the funding instructions. This information will be needed when completing STRATA’s Investment Direction Form.

Once STRATA receives your completed Private Alternative Investment Direction form and the transferred funds have settled, STRATA funds your LeagueMed investment (typically 24-48 hours).
