2022 Light Up the Dark 5K

STRATA was honored to support Unbound Waco by participating in the virtual 5K and in-person 5K events on Saturday, April 9th, 2022.

Human trafficking is one of the fastest growing criminal industries in the world, with an estimated 40.3 million victims worldwide. Because these crimes usually happen under the radar, it can be difficult to get a complete picture of what it really looks like. One aspect of Unbound Waco’s mission is to make the public aware of, and able to identify, human trafficking conduct.

Unbound has provided aid to more than 200 victims and survivors, while also empowering and training thousands to stay safe and properly respond to instances of human trafficking. Their work has been instrumental in helping Texas become more protected against these dangerous crimes.
