2023 Light Up the Dark 5K

STRATA was honored to support Unbound Now Waco’s mission by participating in the 5K events on Saturday, April 1, 2023. We are proud to share that one of our team members ranked #25 in the Women’s (ages 19-29) group – great work Cassandra!

Human trafficking is one of the largest and fastest-growing criminal industries in the world. Despite an estimated 40.3 million victims worldwide, these crimes usually happen under the radar, so it can be difficult to get a complete picture of what this tragedy really looks like. One aspect of Unbound Now Waco’s mission is to make the public aware of, and able to identify, human trafficking conduct.

Unbound Now Waco has provided aid to more than 200 victims and survivors, empowered more than 10,000 youth to stay safe, and trained thousands of professionals to identify and respond to human trafficking. Their work has been instrumental in helping Texans become more protected against these dangerous crimes.
