STRATA In the Community: Caritas of Waco’s Annual Food Drive

STRATA Trust Donates Two Thousand Dollars to Caritas of Waco

Helping the community is a priority for STRATA Trust Company. Volunteering our time and resources to causes we are passionate about is very important to us. One of the many charitable organizations that STRATA supports is Caritas of Waco. For over 51 years Caritas of Waco has worked hard to combat the hunger and poverty crisis in our community. STRATA works alongside Caritas to do our part to fight against hunger and its devastating consequences.

Each November, Caritas hosts an annual food drive where they openly accept non-perishable food and monetary donations to support the community through the holiday season and beyond. “We are seeing more and more clients in need locally, and the prices that we pay for food are almost doubling,” said Ann Owen, Assistant Executive Director of Caritas of Waco. “Without monetary donations and support from community leaders like STRATA, we would run out of funds to purchase food for those most in need.”
